The wedding will take place in May. Miss Jacobson was graduated from South Eugene High School and is serving with the U.S. Navy in Brunswick, Maine. Mr. Fischer attended Connecticut schools and now is a Lance Cor poral in the U.S. Marine Corps, also at Brunswick, Me. HALSEY Mr. and Mrs. Ros coe Sisk of Halsey announce the engagement of their daugh ter, Donna Rae, to Lewis Sprcn ger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Sprcnger of Shedd. No wedding date has been set. Both Miss Sisk and Mr. Sprcnger are 1960 graduates of Central Linn High School. She is employed at Corvallis and he at Albany. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth War ren of Springfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara Claudine, to Charles L. Vaughn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Vaughn, also of Springfield. Miss Warren is a 1960 grad uate of Springfield High School. Mr. Vaughn, a graduate of the same school, now is a senior at University of Oregon, majoring in physical education. A June wedding is planned. Eu-Lane Club Bids Women Eu-Lanc Toastmistress Club will have a special meeting for prospective members Tuesday at 12 noon in the Osburn Hotel. Any woman interested in the club activities is invited. Each officer will explain her duties. Mrs. Harriett Christenson, vice-president, will preside in the absence of the president, Mrs. Ted Prusia. Mrs. Merle Frisbie will present table topics and Mrs. Ruth Snyder will act as toastmistress. Mrs. LeRoy Daniels, former International Toastmistress Cluh president, will be a guest. Walker-Fish Vows Read In a simple ceremony attend ed by members of the families and close friends, Miss Lola Jean Fish, was married to George Edward Walker, son of Mrs. John M. Walker and the late Mr. Walker. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Steen Whiteside in St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Miss Fish wore a white wool sheath dress with while acces sories. Her brief veil was held by a satin band and she carried white spider chrysanthemums and white roses. Miss Keith L. Tucker of The Dalles, sister of the bride, was matron attendant. She wore a cocoa brown sheath dress with matching hat and a bronze or chid. Robert Tarbell Mautz of Port land was best man. Ushers were Michael Fish, brother of the I bride, and Kenneth Renner of Portland. A reception followed in the church parish hall. Mrs. James R. Matychuck cut the cake. Mrs. Edward R. Walker of Portland, aunt of the groom, and Mrs. Orley Hunter poured. The pair is at home in Palo Alto. Mr. Walker attends Stan ford University law school. Wedding Bells Will Ring Cm It (KcnnellEllll photo) Moon-Quick Vows Said DEXTER In a simple cere mony attended by families and close friends, Miss Carolyn Ann Quick was married Jan. 7 to Brooks Dale Moon in the home of his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Dixon of Fall Creek. The bride is the daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Quick of Dexter. The groom's father is Marion Moon of Dex ter. The ceremony was performed by Richard Henderson, pastor of the Jasper Church of Christ, Miss Quick wore a white wool dress with bell skirt, a white veiled hat and red accessories, Mrs. James Awbrey and Law rence Dixon attended the cou pie. At the reception which fol lowed the ceremony Mrs. Wil liam Erickson cut the cake and Mrs. Marion Moon served punch. The couple now is at home on Norbeck-Findtner Mr. and Mrs. Alfred M. Norbeck announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanne Eliza beth, to A 2c Frederick James Findtner, son of Col. and Mrs. F. Robert Findtner. Both fam ilies are of Eugene. The wedding is planned for the summer of 1963. Miss Norbeck, a graduate of North Eugene High School, is a first year student at University of Oregon. Her fiance was graduated in 1960 from South Eugene High School and is serving in the U.S. Air Force. He is stationed in Madrid, Spain. Kirk-Robertson Announced recently in Roseburg was the engagement of Miss Kennctte Kirk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J. Kirk of Roseburg, to Dr. Keith A. Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John E. F. Robertson of Eugene. The couple plans a summer wedding. Miss Kirk, a member of Pi Beta Phi at Uni versity of Oregon, where she took pre-nursing, is a graduate of the U of 0 School of Nursing in Portland, and is employed in the medical school hospital in Portland. Dr. Robertson, also a graduate of the university and its medical school and a member of Delta Tau Delta, is in first year residency at the same hospital. Sisseck-Jonas Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Sisseck of Vancouver, Wash., announce the engagement of their daughter, Joyce Ann, to Larry Jonas of Eugene, son of Mrs. August Jonas and the late Mr. Jonas. No date is set for the couple's wedding. Miss Sisseck, a graduate of Clark College in Vancouver, attends Oregon State College, ma joring in home economics. Mr. Jonas, formerly assistant minister of Minnehaha district Church of Christ at Vancouver, now serves the Church of Christ at 1856 W. Broadway, Eugene. Stutz-McClintick Mr. and Mrs. Dell Stutz of Pleasant Hill an nounce the engagement of their daughter, Gwen, to Dan McClintick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil McClintick of Marsing, Idaho. An early summer wedding is planned. Miss Stutz, a graduate of Pleasant Hill, is employed at the University of Oregon Health Service. Mr. McClintick, a graduate of College of Idaho, with degrees in business administration and accounting, is zone manager for an inves tors' service in Eugene. Laaksonen Alexander Mr. and Mrs. Gus 0. Laaksonen announce the engagement of their daughter, Beverly, to Lauren Alexander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Alexander, both families of Eugene. A spring wedding is planned. Miss Laaksonen, a graduate of University of Oregon, where she was a member of Sigma kap pa sorority, is employed by a Portland travel bureau. Mr. Alexander is with an import company in Seattle, where the couple will make their home. Wheeler-Cheshire Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wheeler of Springfield announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolce, to Wayne Cheshire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheshire, also of Springfield. No wedding date has been set. Both young people were graduated from Springfield High School and Miss Wheeler at tended a business college in Eugene. Mr. Cheshire is employed locally. Miss Townsend was graduated from South Eugene High School and is employed by a local business firm. Mr. Murphy is a junior in pre dentistry at University of Oregon, where he is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Whidden-Nix Mr. and Mrs. John R. Haurigan of Junction City announce the engagement of her daughter, Miss Billie Whidden, to Chris Nix, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Nix, also of Junction City. No date is set for the wedding. Miss Whidden, a graduate of Junction City High School, is a sophomore in education at University of Oregon. Parsons of Eugene announce the engagement of their daughter, Carolyn Ann, to Dr. Donald Heithecker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Heithecker of Nampa, Ida ho. The couple will be married in July. Miss Parsons, a graduate of South Eugene High School, attended Northwest Nazarene Col lege In Nampa. Graduated from University of Oregon School of Nursing in 1960, she is em ployed at the Medical School Hospital. Dr. Heithecker was graduated from College of Idaho and' University of Oregon Medical School. He is completing internship at the medi cal school and will start residency there in the fall. Domitrovich-Daniel Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Linda Domitrovich, daughter of Mrs. Joyce Domitrovich of Spokane, to Avcrill H. Daniel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Daniel of Junction City. An April wedding is planned. Miss Domitrovich was graduated from Chen ey, (Wash.) High School and is employed in Spokane. Mr. Daniel was graduated from Junc tion City High School and now serves as Air man Second Class in the U.S. Air Force at Lar son A. F. Base, Moses Lake, Wash. Gesme - Splonskowski Mr. and Mrs. Irven L. Gesme of Eugene an nounce the engagement of their daughter, Donna Mae, to James Andrew Splonskowski, son of Mrs. Fred Splonskowski of Eugene and the late Mr. Splonskowski. A February wedding is planned. Miss Gesme was graduated from high school in Ellendale, N. D., and now is employed in a local beauty salon. Mr. Splonskowski was gradu ated from St. Francis High School and now is employed with a Eugene paint contractor. Robinson-Phillips Mr. and Mrs. Herman E. Robinson of Eugene announce' the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen, to Gary L. Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Phillips of El Segundo, Calif. The couple will be married Feb. 14 in the Mormon Temple at Salt Lake City. Miss Robinson Is a senior at Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah. Mr. Phillips is junior at that school. Both young people have served two years as missionaries for their church, and Mr. Phillips has served two years with the U. S.
