Two performances of the ballet
program, "Concert for Sherri,"
and the accompanying movie,
"Song Without End" have been
scheduled. A matinee will begin
at 1:30 p.m., the evening perform
ance at 7:30. !
Other students who will dance

Opening scenes in the movie
are set in Cyprus, where a large
number of European Jews, who
nope to reacn Palestine, are in
terned by the British. Israel has
not yet been partitioned, and
there has been no decision made
on what to do with the many
refugees without a country,
In order to draw attention to
the plight of these refugees,
young man played by Paul
Newman organizes the escape of
freighter-load of refugees,
The plight of these refugees,
their fate,1 the romances that de
velop and the building of a new
homeland are featured through
out the movie.

scheduled for the Heilig Theatre

On stage Monday will be a bal
let program, "Concert for Sher
ri, and a much -lauded movie
from past seasons, "Song With
out End," starring Dirk Bor-
garde. He is the English star who
recently has begun to rise in
American popularity polls.

Ring of Fire," the movie
filmed in the logging community
of Vernonia, in Oregon, will open
Tuesday. David Jensen and
Joyce Taylor star. The movie is
co-featured with "And the Decks
Ran Red." . ,
"The Immoral Mrs. Teas," an
adult comedy, will open Friday
at the Mayflower. Ending Sunday
is a movie of the' famous Scopes
"monkey" trial In Dayton, Tenn.,
Inherit the ' Wind." Spencer
Tracy, Frederic March and Gene
Kelly stars".
"Cinderfella," Jerry Lewis' I
spoof of the classic fairy tale, is

musician is Ada Moore, featured
entertainer with The hungry
College Concert." . . .
She is probably best known for
her lead role in "House of Flow
ers," where, she was first an un
derstudy for Pearl Bailey.
With Stan Wilson, Wick &
Brand, and . a jazz trio, ' Miss
Moore will be heard Tuesday
night on the University of Ore
gon campus. These entertainers
will give two shows in the ball
room of the Student Union, at 7
and 9 p.m. Tickets are now on
sale at the main desk in the Stu
dent Union. Prices are $2.00 for
adult reserved; $1.50 for student
reserved; $1.50 for adult general
admission; and $1.00 for student
general admission.
