Fourth Son In Service MOHAWK Gene Roebuck, son of Mr. and Mrt. Ed Roebuck, has volunteered for the draft and will leave Jan. 11 for his physical. The Roebucks have three other sons who have served their coun try and are now discharged.' Also leaving for his army phys ical Jan. 11 is Ed Gill, son of Mr. Mrs. M. K. Gill of Parsons Creek. Ed is a 1954 graduate of Mohawk High School at Marcola. Gordon Hall, who is a seaman apprentice with the U.S. Navy at San Diego, Calif., left Sunday to return to his base. Hall has spent two weeks with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hall. Miss Lois Hufstader, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hufstad er, left Sunday to return to Santa Barbara, Calif., where she at tends Westmont College. Miss Hufstader spent her Christmas vacation here. Roger Diehnel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Diehnel, left Sunday for Corval- where he will enter college. Diehnel is a 1954 graduate of Springfield High and has been employed by Weyerhaeusers since graduation. He will major in engineering. Mr.' and Mrs. Joe Aringdale and daughters, Betty and Rita, returned Saturday from a trip to Wichita, Kansas, where they vis ited both Mr. Aringdale's and Mrs. Aringdale's mothers. They reported roads in good condition all the way. They just missed a storm in the middle west. Miss Carla Metzger of Arling ton, Wash., returned to her home Sunday after spending a week at the Ed Roebuck home. Mr. and Mrs. C. DeKrey of Steele, N. D'., left for their home Thursday after spending two days visiting at the C, J. Calkins home.
