"Starting the battles was a cinch," Hibbs admits. "I just fired the first shot and I hp went into action." But stopping the action was an other matter. The group holds meetings once a month. The program is devoted to some surgical prob lem, and presentation is by one or more members of the socie ty. Judge barn Driver granted a defense request that Quatsling be allowed to have a psychiatric ex amination at a hospital here Quatsling's attorney claimed the young man was "mentally irre sponsoble" at the time of the holdup. EVS Planning New Classes Classes in home planning and blueprint reading will start at Eugene Vocational School the week of Oct. 25. The home planning class is de signed for women and men in terested in making home altera tions. The instructor, Art dough, will teach topics regarding ma terials, designs, home traffic, in terior decoration, and other household problems. The blueprint reading class will only be for persons in the building trades who are interest ed in increasing their earning ability by specialized instruction in the reading of blueprints and estimating building construction costs from prints and specifica tions.
