It started as a triek on her sisier ana a incna, sam mmiaiiiu Gibbs, 13, o Sherwood. Then, when she saw all the commotion it caused, she was scared to own up. At about 2 a.m. sheriff's deputies, going to the girl's home to see if further aid was wanted, learned that she was safe at home. She, her sister Nadine, J4, and a neighbor, David Smith, 16, had been swimming in the evening. At about dark, she swam down the stream, then climbed out and into the tree house. She did not answer shouts and the search started, with grappling beginning at 10 p.m. At midnight, coid and scared, she climbed down and went home. Plans call for Eisenhower to speak about 10:30 a.m., with dedi cation portion of the program opening about 10 a.m. An all-day program from 7:35 a.m. to 4 p.m. will seek to ease traffic problems for crowds coming and going by providing something for specta tors to watch to keep them from creating a mammoth traffic crush right after the dedication itself. The President is to leave the damsite on the Oregon side at 10:50 a.m., arriving at Pendleton airport at 11:55 a.m. His plane will leave 15 minutes later for Los Angeles.
