His nome is Power Geer. Swift Train Rams Truck MATTOON, 111. W A speeding New York Central system passen ger train slammed into a truck Monday, killing the driver. At least 21 passengers were taken to hospitals with injuries. A piece of steel flying from the truck fell beneath the train wheels and derailed eight coaches. Some remained upright and some over turned. As the train plowed along after the crash it sheared uff telegraph and power line poles along the right-of-way. Mattoon is in east central Illi nois 124 miles cast of St. Louis. The train, No. 12, the Southwest ern Limited, was bound from St. Louis to Indianapolis. (ADVERTISEMENT!
