Peach Bavarian Cream 2 Icaspoons unflavored gelatin 4 tablespoons cold water Vz cup hot peach juice dash salt V cup sugar xk cup cream product 2 tablespoons lemon juice Vk cups sliced, drained peaches Soften gelatin in cold water. Add peach juice, salt, sugar; stir until gelatin and sugar are dis solved. Shake cream product on hot mixture, stir. Chill in refrig erator until thickened, about 45 minutes. Then stir in lemon juice. Beat with rotary beater or electric mixer until mixture is thick and fluffy and doubled in bulk. Fold in peaches. Turn into 3-cup mold and chill until firm. Makes 6 servings. Butterscotch Nut Cookies 3 tablespoons cream product 3 cups flour, sifted 3 teaspoons baking powder teaspoon salt cup shortening Vk cups light brown sugar, firmly packed 2 eggs, well beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla Vz cup water 1 cup chopped nuts Sift together cream product, flour, baking powder, salt. Cream shortening, add sugar gradually, creaming until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture alternately with wa ter, mixing well. Fold in nuts Chill. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 F.) about 8 to 10 nun utes. Makes about 5 dozen cook ies. in powdered form.
