Price movements were extreme
ly small either way. A number of
stocks held at their previous close.
Some specialty issues, however,
managed to move out of the narrow
range.
There was very little In the day's
news developments to sway prices
either w ay. Investors generally took
the "wait and see" attitude on de
velopments in Washington. They
held off making any further com
mitments until President Eisen
hower gives his state of the union
message which is expected next
week.
