The local women will be hostesses to more than 200 women who are expected to at tend. Mrs. Charles J. Childs Sr., who is completing four years as presi dent of the. organization, will preside at the sessions, which will open at 10 a.m. Thursday morn ing. Special guest will be Miss Dorothy Wagner, area secretary for foreign missions at San Fran cisco, who will speak to the group three times. Miss Wagner spent several years in China as a mis sionary. Mrs. A. B. Cutler, synodical president, will conduct a confer ence on "World Service." Senator Philip Hitchcock of Klamath Falls will speak at the open meeting Thursday evening on "The Challenge to the Church in Social Education and Action." Mr. Hitchcock is chairman of the social education and action com mittee for the synod of Oregon.
