The plates win go onto cars In 1950. but one-twelfth of them will expire every month. Secretary of State Earl Newbry .will send nut statements, telling motorists how 1 much to pay for the plates. There after the license may be renewed annually. The plates will be mailed, be ginning Nov. 15. They cannot be Dut on auios until Dec. 15. Num bers assigned o the cars will be permanent. Newbry said applications for special numbers no longer can be accepted. His office has issued about 16.000 special numbers. Later in the school year, the Russian Arts Club in conjunction with the Foreign Film Club hopes to sponsor three or four Russian full-length movies which will be open to the public. The first of these 16 millimeter films will be "Ivan the Terrible." The Club hopes lo show it sometime dur ing November. Admission will be charged. English sub-titles will be shown with all Russian movies.
