mountain resort city of Asheville.
The toll might have been great

back of the Salisbury to Charlotte
train had left the tracks. Most of

Pullmans, which had come from
Washington and points north and
been attached to the train in
Salisbury.
Two negro cooks on the train
were killed. They were identified
as Robert Freeman, 60, of Salis
bury, N. C, and Hersten Long

lars back from the board on each
