The Medford team, superbly coached by Al McDonald, forced the state semi-final tournament into the seventh game here Sun day night with a 9-6 victory over the host Drain club. Medford had lost in an 11-inning second round game to Drain, 8-4 but collective ly found a batting eye and waded through two games Sunday to stay in the running.
