Butler in an evening ceremony at Morcland Prttbyterian Church, Portland, last Saturday evening. The Rev. O. LeRoy Walter officiated. Parents of Mr. Butler art Mr. and Mrs. Leon Butler ot Van couver, Wash. The bride who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown, Victorian In style. Her full-length net veil was trimmed with lace and fell from a coronet of seed pearls. She carried a white Bible with a white orchid, which she wore later on her going-away suit. Attending the bride were her two sisters, Miss Phyllis Neuen fieldt of Seattle as maid of honor and Miss Jewel Neuen feldt of Portland as bridesmaid. The maid of honor's dress was of dusty rose satin and she carried an arm bouquet of yellow roses. The bridesmaid wore moss green satin and carried an arm bou quet of red roses. Acting as best man for his A prepared panel dealing with questions most asked, relative to the standards, social rules and regulations ot students on the campus, will be conducted by the directors ot student affairs at the program and tea of Oregon Mothers Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock, at Gerlinger Hall. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Irvin Heinrichs. The ceremony was performed at eight o'clock in the evening by the Rev. Simon E. Forsberg, pastor. The bridal dress of white slip per satin was made with lace yoke and peplum and had a train. With it the bride wore a fingertip-length veil held in place with orange blossoms, and carried white calla lilies cascaded with ribbons. Attendants of the bride were her cousin, Miss Virginia Hein richs, as maid of honor and Misses Virginia and Joan Cote, brides maids. The maid of honor wore yellow taffeta made with por trait neckline and bustle. Her head bandeau was of chrysanthemums and she carried a white nosegay tied with aqua streamers. The bridesmaids were gowned in aqua, made in the same style as the dress worn by the maid of honor. Their ban deaux and nosegays were yellow, tied with yellow.' The bridegroom's father, Mr. Kindred, was best man for his son, and the ushers were Elmer R. Moore, cousin of the bride groom and Malcolm W. Billiard, cousin of the bride. Music was-by an aunt and cous in of the bride, the aunt, Mrs. T. R. Flatley of Loi Angeles, pre siding at the organ and the cous in, Miss Marjorie Flatley, singing "At Dawning," "I Love You Tru ly," and "Because." Garlands of evergreens around the walls decorated the church parlors for the reception and the refreshment table was centered with pink snapdragons and pink tapers. Mrs. U M. Heinrichs and Mrs. M. W. Van Billiard cut the cake, Mrs. Elmer Moore and Mrs. Bart Nevers poured. Serving were Mrs Ernest Knoph and Misses Virginia Burt, Allene Amacher Eleanor Mathews. Joan Saun ders and Shirley Henson. The couple went to San Fran cisco, via the coast route, for their wedding trip. The bride's going-away costume was a green gabardine suit with black acces sories and hat and fur cape of caracul lamb. They are now at home in Eugene. The 'Tide is a graduate of the University of Oregon where she was a member of Mu Phi Epsilon music honorary and the bride groom attended Texas Tech and University of Oregon. The Rev. Ellsworth Tilton officiated at the double-ring ceremony, at three o'clock. Miss Benton's gown was of white satin and made with a short train. Her veil was of lace, held by a pearl-beaded head piece. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses and ferns. Her maid of honor was Miss Margaret Walker of Pleasant Hill, who wore a gown of yellow taffeta and carried yellow roses and gardenias. Frederick of Eugene, at First Congregational Church January 30 at three o'clock in the afternoon. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Wise of Springfield. The Rev. LeRoy Crossley, pastor of First Baptist Church at Springfield, heard the couple repeat vows before an altar decorated with yellow daffodils and heather. Mr. Wise gave his daughter In marriage. The bridal dress was of white Esler-Hedlind slipper satin made with fitted bodice, sweetheart neckline and with leg o' mutton sleeves and a short train. Her fingertip length veil was edged with lace and her flowers were yellow rosebuds tied with yellow ribbon. For "something old" she carried a handkerchief which was a keepsake of her grandmother's. Mrs. Ross Glfford of Spring field attended the bride as mat ron of honor. Her dress was of rose color and she carried a bou quet of iris tied with rose ribbon. The bridesmaids were Miss Naomi Wetzell and Mrs. Robert Nice, sister of the bridegroom, both of Eugene. Miss Wetzell was in yellow and Mrs. Nice in blue. Both carried Iris tied with ribbons in eggshell shade. Candlelighters were Mrs. Bart Kirk and Mrs. Donald Anderson. Westnn B. Lockwood was best man and the ushers were Harvey, A. Humphrey and Leon G. Rites January 29 Miss Helen M. Hedllnd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hedllnd of Springfield, was married to Cliff O. Esler at First Congregational Church, Eugene, January 29. The Rev. Wesley Nicholson read the service at two o'clock in the afternoon. Mr. Esler is the son of Lewis Esler of Portland. The bride's costume was a tailored suit of forest green with which she wore brown accessor ies and a purple orchid. Mrs. Madison LeBlanc of Springfield was matron of honor and wore a green suit. Her flowers were a white gardenia with pale pink roses. Mr. LeBlanc was best man. Baskets of yellow daffodils and pink carnations arranged with fern decorated the altar of the church. Guests at the wed ding repaired to the home of the bride's parents for the reception following the ceremony. The couple went on their wed ding trip to the northern part of the state. Cottage Grove Girl Wedded in Eugene COTTAGE GROVE Miss Doreen Annetto Lyon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Lyon, and Arthur Beddoe, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Beddoe of Vancouver, Wash., were married in a double- ceremony performed by the Louis E. White In the Fire Room of the Congregational Church In Salem at seven o'clock Saturday evening, February 5. Yellow Jonquils and irprays of heather decorated the room. The bride chose a two-piece royal blue wool suit and grey ac cessories for her wedding cos tume. Her corsage was a single purple orchid. Attending the wedding weie the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Lyon and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ashcr, all of Cottage Grove, and Mr, and Mrs. A. J. Beddoe and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Claball, all of Vancouver, Wash. The wedding banquet was served at the Colonial House in Salem immediately following the ceremony. Mrs. Beddoe was graduated from Cottage Grove Union High School in 1848 and is a student at Willamette University. Mr. Bed doe was graduated from Van couver High School and also is attending Willamette. The new home will be at MM Chemeketa street In Salem.
