Strome, well known Junction City farm owner. Their marriage took place Wednesday evening at seven o'clock, at the home of Senator and Mrs. An gus Gibson, the Rev. W. B. Empy, retired, officiating. Miss Denison was attired In an informal dress of blue and silver bombazine, street length, and wore a grey hat and acces sories. Her corsage was a whit orchid. . White chrysanthemums were placed about the room. The wedding ceremony was witness ed by a few close relatives of the pair, and afterwards there was a reception for other friends. Mrs. Glenn Strome and Mrs, Hans Rasmussen cut the wed ding cake; Mrs. John Strom and Mrs. William Volstedt ' ot Albany served coffee, and Mrs. Frank Knox and Miss Carolina Strome served punch. Miss Vir ginia Strome had the guest book, and assisting about the room were Misses Glenadine Strome, Sandra Brown, Sally Carpenter and Suzanne Mills. Mr. and Mrs. Strome are mak ing a short trip, and will be at home in Junction City, at 756 Laurel Street, after November 1. Mrs. Strome, who formerly was dean of women at the Junc tion City High School, is a na tive of Oregon and grand dau ghter of pioneers. Her maternal grand parents lived at Grants Pass, and her paternal grand father, Dr. John N. Denison, was a prominent Methodist churchman, who was closely asociated with the late R. A. Booth in the development ot Willamette University. The bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Strome, are old residents of the Junction City area, where the elder Strome has farmed since 1870. Bronze and gold chrysanthe mums and autumn leaves were background for the candelabra used in decoration of the church. Warren Mack was the soloist, singing, "Smiling Through the Years" and "God Gave Me You," with Mary Grubbs at the organ. Mr. Nolt gave his daughter in marriage. The bride wore a white satin gown with yoke of chiffon outlined with narrow ac cordion - pleated satin inserts. The bodice was fitted, with long sleeves and self-covered buttons; the skirt full and with a train. Her fingertip veil of nylon illu sion was held in place by a tiny white satin pillbox hat. Her flowers were a wrist bouquet, a white orchid centering an ar rangement of white Fuji chry santhemums. Maid of honor, Miss Rosemarie Walsh of Eugene, wore a full skirted gown of gold slipper sa tin with cap sleeves and match ing mitts. She wore a Juliet cap of gold cord and chrysanthemum blossoms, and had a wrist bou quet of Fujian pompom "mums" and Croton leaves. Dickinson served as best man; ushers were Robert Wells and Lloyd Cameron, a brother-in-law of the bridegroom.: Cross-Shaped Cake The reception was held in the Wheeler Room, where Mrs. Lloyd Cameron cut the cross shaped wedding cake. She was assisted by Mrs. Leo Best. Mrs. William Shackelford and Mrs. Leonard Clearwater served, and Mrs. Steve Edwards poured. Mrs. Cameron, Mrs. Shackelford and Mrs. Clearwater are sisters of the bridegroom. The refreshment table repeated the floral pattern of chrysanthemums and autumn leaves. Hor ton, library concert cJiainnan, Heirloom Wedding Veil Wearing a veil of hand-woven sheer linen more than two-hundred years old, Miss Margarita Madeline Quaglia was married to Richard Harold Cantonwine in a morning ceremony at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Cottage Grove Fri day, October 8. .The veil, which Was brought from Italy by the bride's mother, is edged with handmade eyelet embroidery. The Rev. Paul Zeller, pastor, read the nuptial mass at ten o'clock before the altar decorated with white chrysanthemums and . pink roses. The bride is the dau ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Michele Quaglia of Cottage Grove and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Milton Cantonwine of Longmont, Colo. The bridal dress wns of white slipper satin with train-length ' skirt caught up ' in front with yellow rosebuds to show eye let insets. The bodice was made with net yoke and off-shoulder drape of satin caught with the yellow buds. Tiny pearl buttons , were used down the front of the bodice and to fasten the long, pointed sleeves. Her arm bou quet was of white roses with satin streamers and she carried a silver rosary. She was given In marriage by her father. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Jo Anne Pre mazzi in orchid dotted swiss and with white gloves and white satin halo and net veil. She carried an arm bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums tied with yellow ribbon. Attendants were Mrs. WiUiam Pruitt wearing pink net and Miss Doris Dixon in blue. Both carried arm bouquets of yellow chrysanthemums tied with bronze ribbon and wore satin halos with net veils and gloves matching their dresses. Michael Quaglia, brother of the bride, was best man. Ushers were Kenneth Jackson and Vir gil Moon. Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. Robert Boyce and Mrs. Mads C. Overgaard sang an "Ave Ma ria," and other hymns, accom panied by Mrs. M. L. Sizemore on the organ. During the mass Mrs. Sizemore played "Veni, Domine." . At the reception in the parish house Mrs. E.
