Following the trip to Crater Lake and other points of inter est, the couple will live in Eu gene. Mrs. Hein worn an acqua green suit with gray accessories for the wedding trip. Mrs. Hein is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Larsen of Eugene, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Miss Bybee Wed August 1 Given in marriage by her father, Miss Virginia Bybee wore a wedding gown of tradi tional white satin, with sweet heart neckline, for her marriage to Alvln Campbell. The finger tip veil was held by a tiara of orange blossoms. Dr. Vance H. Webster read the service at First Baptist Church, August 1. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Bybee of Boise, Idaho, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Campbell of Eugene. Miss Bybee has been making her home at 921 Eighth Avenue West in Eugene. Matron of honor was Mrs. Frederick Bixel of Eugene. Her gown was white organdy over blue, and she carried a nosegay of gladiolus. Bridesmaid was Miss Patricia Bucklin of Eugene, who wore white voil over pink and car ried a nosegay of corona gladi olus. Mrs. Norman Green of Eu gene was also an attendant and wore white voil over pink and carried a nosegay similar to that of the bridesmaid's. Best man was George Camp bell, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Norman Green, Charles Bybee, Dale Curfman, and Clayton Jarvis. Miss Virginia Burt sang "Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life" and "With This Ring, I Thee Wed." She was accompanied by Mrs. Charles Roffe. At the reception in the church parlors, Miss Faye Schick played the music. Mrs. H. C. Travillion cut the cake, Mrs. L. B. Thomas poured, and assisting were Mrs. Vernon Perdue, Mrs. Jack Cook, Mrs. Donald Stan, Miss Doris Mang ham, and Misses Shirley and Janice Finley. In charge of the reception was Mrs. W. R. Finley, and hostesses were Mrs. Berdon Thomas, Mrs. Clifford Travillion, and Mrs. Bernice Rheinsburg. For going-away, the bride wore a navy blue suit with navy and white accessories. The couple will be at home in Eu gene as Mr. Campbell is a stu dent at the University of Ore gon. Diamond Earrings Of Mother's Worn At Wedding Sunday wearing the diamond earrings her mother wore at her wedding, Miss Billie J. Osborne of Spring field was married to John Har old Belloni at double ring rites read by the Rev. O. L. Griffith. It was a lawn wedding at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. Floyd Lengacher of Eugene, at two o'clock, August 1. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs, Springfield, is the son of Mrs. John Belloni of Myrtle Point The white satin bridal gown had a full-length veil with train and full skirt. She carried a white orchid with stephanotis. Mrs. Gordon Goosela of Pow ers, matron of honor, wore a full-gathered pastel green net skirt. Miss Barbara Lengacher of Eugene was bridesmaid, wearing a light peach gown trimmed with white daisies. Mrs. Clifford Wilson of Myrtle Point was also an attendant, and wore a pastel yellow gown. All earrled nose gays of rainbow colors. Carol Furman was flower girl and Celia Caughell was train bearer. Brother of the bridegroom, Robert Belloni of Eugene, was best man. James A. Osborne, of Springfield, brother of the bride, and Clifford Wilson of Myrtle Point, were ushers. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, 'Major Earle Osborne. Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Gaylbrd sang "Thine Alone" and "Al ways," accompanied by Mrs. Gaylord. At the reception, Mrs. Stanley Furman, sister of the bride groom, cut the eake, and Mrs. Floyd Lengacher, aunt of the bride, served the punch. Miss Sandra Lengacher had charge of the guest book. For the wedding trip to Lake Louise in Canada, the bride wore an acqua two-piece suit with white accessories. After August 16 they will live at Myrtle Point. Mr. Belloni attended the Uni versity of Oregon, and is now In business at Myrtle Point. Clayton-Sylvester ' Rites in Eugene Miss Belva Jean Sylvester, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Sylvester of Reedsport, and John Clayton Drawyer of Jasper, were married here Sunday, August 1. The Rev. L. O. Grif fith officiated. Mrs. Fred O' Sullivan, sister of the bride was matron of honor, and Mr. O' Sullivan served as best man. COUNTRY CLUB GOLF PLAT TO FEATURE 'CRIERS' TOURNAMENT A "criers" tournament will feature women's golf play at the Eugene Country Club next Wed nesday. Winners of last week's odd-hole event were Mrs. Ed Siegmund, Mrs. Mervin Vater, Mrs. J. F. Roadman and Mrs. Pat Fury. Mrs. Siegmund also won the first-flight of the cham pionship tournament, with Mrs. Ron Romig the second-flight winner, and Mrs. Lewis Road man the third-flight winner. The fitted bodice was trimmed with lace and seed pearis ana ine rront hem was caught up to show the ruffled lace petticoat. The full-length veil had inserts of lace panels and was held by a crown of seed pearls. She carried an orchid en circled by white gladiolus. The bride's sister, Mist Mary Ennis of Eugene, was maid of honor, and wore a blue gown and carried a bouquet of gladio lus. Flower girl was Carol Ann Ennis, niece of the bride, who was gowned in white satin to match the gown of the bride. J. G. Reardorff was best man, and I. C. Cutsforth and Jerry Durbin were ushers. James Kayes sang "Ave Ma ria" and "Thine Alone." Mrs. Barbara Tripp played the wed ding marches. At the reception in the church parlors, Mrs. William Abney cut the cake, Mrs. Robert Barham poured, and Miss Louis Green, Miss Sylvia Becker, and Mrs. Kenneth Westrope served, Miss Clara Windchester played the reception music. For her wedding trip to Mex ico, Mrs. Gail wore a grey erepe dress with black accessories. The couple plans to live at 2756 Kin caid Street. Mrs. Geil attended Friends University, Wichita, Kan., and Mr. Geil attended the Univer sity of Oregon. Spurgins Visit Former Presbyterian Pastor Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Spurgln, who with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Barnett, have been vacationing on Puget Sound, had a pleasant visit with the Rev. and Mrs. Norman Tully, former pastor of Central Presbyterian Church, at Davenport, Wash. They were the first guests to register at a newly opened re sort at Lopez, Wash., the Sea Ranch. It is located on the north end of Lopez Island in the San Juan Group and is the first ferry stop out of Anacortes, Wash. The Spurgins were present- for the salmon "potlatch" which is a weekly feature at the resort during the salmon season. Double Ring Rites Wed Miss Spies v At St. Mary's Church St. Mary's Catholic Church was the scene of the wedding of Miss Kathleen Mary Spies, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Spies, and Harvey Allen Hum phrey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Humphrey, all of Eugene. The Very Reverend Francis P. Leip zig read the double ring cere mony in the presence of three hundred guests, Sunday after noon, August 1. Escorted to the altar by her father, Miss Spies wore a prin cess style gown of white satin with circular court train. The yoke and peplum of the fitted bodice were of illusion lace, and tiny buttons were used as trim ming up the back. Her finger tip veil was held by a coronet of orange blossoms. She wore a dainty diamond lavalier set with seed pearls and carried a prayer book, topped with a white orchid. Mrs. Hartley Kneeland was her sister's only attendant. She .wore a gown of pastel green and carried a nosegay of pink and white gladiolus. John Hum phrey of Portland served as best man for his brother. Ushers were Meivin Anderson and Arthur Johnson. Mrs. Spies, mother of the bride, and Mrs. Humphrey both wore afternoon dresses of navy blue with white accessories, and corsages of pink and white car nations. Dale Cooley sang "Ave Maria," with Mrs. Cooley at the organ. The altar was decorated with pink and white gladiolus. Mrs. Cecil Atkins, sister of the bridegroom served the wedding cake at the reception which was held in the Mirror Room of Eu gene Hotel immediately follow ing the ceremony. Mrs. Meivin Anderson presided at the punch bowl, and Mrs. Daniel Dion was in charge of the guest book. For the wedding trip to the ooast and Canada, the bride wore a suit of military blue with navy and white accessories.
