Murray was leading in all coun ties and had built up an edge of four to one over his einiriA nr! mary opponent, Dr. Henry J. Mc Gregor of Great Falls, on the basis of unofficial returns from 480 of the state's 1142 precincts Most Decided Most of the other contests in Montana's primary election ap peared to be decided early Wed nesday, as returns continued to pour in from throughout the state. Tom J. Davis, Butte attorney and former president of Rotary International, was running well ahead of Wellington D. Rankin of Helena for the Republican sena torial nomination. This represents only 47 per cent of the assigned quota. Lane is now in 20th place in the list of 36 counties, arc below the state average sales of 52 per cent of quota. Only one county, Curry, has achieved 100 per cent success. A letter from state director Kenneth G. Martin, indicates that there will be one more weekly re port of sales as of July 17 and a final report about the end of the month. This final report will show the purchases of F 7 G Bonds made during the period July 1-15 under the special Treasury De partment ruling. Workers in the county campaign expressed the belief that many firms would still establish Payroll Savings Plans for the benefit of employees. Individuals are urged to continue buying bonds in the nation's fight against inflation. Obsidians Plan Hike To Rooster Rock Mr. and Mrs. Ron Pupke will lead an Obsidian hike to Rooster Rock Sunday. Anyone interested is invited to take the hike. The party will leave from the City Hall at 6 a.m. Sunday. Rooster Rock is located on the Santiam highway.
