Arab Underground
Movement Formed
: JERUSALEM 0J.R) A shop In
Jerusalem was wrecked Thursday
by an explosion which police de
scribed s the first blow by a
new Arab underground move
ment called "Hurrieh," Arabic for
freedom.
The blasted hop was ruined.
The rest of the building was not
damaged, and there were no cas
ualties. The bombing, as described by
police, was the first time Arabs
had resorted to that form of vio
lence since their revolt of 1936-39.
The shop was operated by an
Arab said to have dealt in Jewish
produced building materials and
paints. The Hurrieh underground
i movement was reported concerned
exclusively with the Arab boycott
of Jewish-produced goods.
Another explosion was reported
in the area of the Socony-Vacuum
'Oil Company's works in Haifa. Of
ficials reported the damage slight,
and no casualties.
! A military truck was blown up
by a mine on the outskirts of Na
thanya. One soldier was injured
I seriously.

The change was made because
of present high feed costs which
may cause producers to market
their turkeys earlier than usual.
Purchases will be limited to
turkeys purchased and dressed
after Aug. 30.
Prices for the program to ex
tend through Jan. 31, 1948, will
be announced around Sept. 1, and
