Harrisburg C of C Will Prepare Program HARRISBURG Plans were made for erecting a lighted Christmas tree and placing street decorations, when Chamber of Commerce members held a busi ness meeting following the turkey dinner Monday evening which closed the recent membership anve contest. Griswold, is home until Dec. 17 after completion of his boot train ing at San Diego. He waa in his junior year in high school here when he enlisted in the navy last spring. Fall Creek Ready For Christmas Season FALL CREEK There was a Christmas Decoration Workshop meeting of H. E. Unit at Mrs. Vesta Carpenters last Thursday. They made swags and corsages from cones, acorns and greenery. Plans were made for the annual Christmas party of the unit, at the home of unit chairman, Mrs. Mrs. Frances Trautwein, Friday, Dec. 13 at 2 p. m. Refreshments will be served and there will be gifts. Each one attending is to bring a gift, price not to exceed 50 cents. Those who bring chil dren are asked to also bring a child's gift. Each member is in vited to bring a guest if they wish to do so. Fred Gibson, Sr., who had an operation for appendicitis at Rhoads Clinic, is recovering nicely and came home Tuesday. M. Renfro has been sick at his home for more than a week.
