Proponents say that if the time should come when Eu gene could not accommodate tuition students from rural dis tricts. Bailey Hill would not want to be on the outside with no high school facilities. Bailey Hill has been struggling with a growing enrollment in a school building which is limited in space. Last year a basement room was used in the three teacher system. The district voted for consolidation with six others in May, which later was dissolved. If consolidation is approved by both Eugene and Bailey Hill and if previous practice is followed, students in the Bailey Hill dis trict who live closer to the Mag ladry school may attend there and those living closer to Lincoln school may be sent there. Seventh and eighth graders would attend junior high school in Eugene and the Bailey Hill school woulS be kept in operation for sixth grad. ers only. The Eugene buses at present are used about to capacity. The election Aug. 26 will be held at 8 p.m. in the Bailey Hill school. In Eugene voting will be between 2 and 7 p.m. at the River Road, Willard and Dunn schools. I Members of the Bailey Hill school board are Marjorie K. Moore, chairman, Warren Coombs and George H. One person was killed and 118 injured in the accident. A west-bound and an east bound passenger train were ordered to pass each other at a siding at Hot Lake. The eastbound train failed to enter the siding i ana crashed head on into the other train,' which was a a stand still on the main track. She was 66. Born Caroline Johnson at Jar etts, Minn., she lived there until her marriage to Joseph Bricher at Wabasha, Minn., Oct. 27, 1898. The couple lived on a ranch near Wabasha until 1909 when they moved to Cottage Grove and es tablished their present home. She was a member of the Cath olic Church.
