McGraw, chief of the guidance center in Eugene, ex plained that failure to do so may jeopardize a veteran's chance to resume training at a later date. "It is to his positive advantage to consult with a VA training of ficer before quitting his training or taking another job," McGraw stated. "The VA will help the vet eran set up a new program of ed ucation or job training, or will ar range to postpone his use of GI training rights until a later date. Changes are permitted only for good reasons, as the VA intends that the veteran should utilize his educational benefits primarily ' to further a life-long occupation, McGraw pointed out. A change of objective in a training program requires the counsel of advisers in the VA guidance section. In Oregon, there are VA guidance centers in Port land, Corvallis, Eugene and La Grande and training officers also at Klamath Falls, Medford and Astoria. Miller, and is making her home at 323 O St., in Springfield. Mrs. Miller, whose home was in Paris, attended French schools un til she was 20.
