Roseburg Dairymen Vote To Increase Prices HOSEBURG, March 21 (IP) Butterfat prices will be increased in the Roseburg delivery area from 92 cents to $1.19 a pound on March 25 whether the OPA grants such a boost or not. This was the announcement here today of Louis Nichols, president of the Douglas County Milk Producers Assn., fol lowing a meeting last night at which the increase was unani mously voted. Nichols explained' that the price boost , was ' favored as against cessation of delivery to consum ers and which would have consti tuted a strike against the govern ment. 'We are tired of being given the run-around by the OPA," Nichols, said. "If it doesn't approve of the price Increase and decides to pen alize us-well they can't put all of us in jail." German Black Marketeers Steal Trainload of Coal By TOM REEDY HERFORD (IP) The black market is so cleverly organized in Germany now that a gang was able to steal an entire trainload of coal to the Ruhr, transport it 200 miles to Aurich near the Norm Sea and swap it for potatoes. This flagrant case was disclosed by a British military government officer whose position forbids his quotation by name. The officer said the remarkable theft of hundreds of tons of coal was only one example of the "brains" behind the black .roar ket.
