Adolph Menjou, Wliven, Walter Slezak WMPallelte. Wally Brown In Camejr add comedy. mry concerns a serious P'jmight (Sinatra) who advances some money to a pro' ducer (Murphy) to have his opus produced on Broadway. Instead the producer uses the cash to back a musical. Menjou and Sle zak are hotel men who keep try. ing to eject the starving actors. Sinatra does a fair job on sev eral songs, "Come Out, Come Out, Wherever You Are", "Where Does Love Begin," "Some Other Time," and "As Long As Theres Mu sic." His acting is atrocious, and other members of the cast seem to be always Interrupting him so that the action will not drag. Menjou is enjoyable in his tantrums, Slezak (usually cast as a nazi menace) makes a good comedian, and Gloria DeHaven stands around in strapless even ing gowns long enough to make the picture worthwhile. Production tricks in the finale are so clever you hardly notice the cast. Light .comedy: a must if you like Sinatra; enjoyable even if you don't. New York Markets NEW YORK.
