In Nine Columns
MIAMI. Flo rw i iin
The Miami Daily News, afternoon
rcw.papcr, appeared today in a
new format of nine columns in
stead of the traditional eight, an
Innovation which the news editors
said would save newsprint and
lower eye fatigue of its readers.
The size of the paper remains
the same, the additional column
being made possible by a reduc
tion of the width of each column.
