Due Wednesday
One of Broadway's most popu
lar musicals, the Cole Porter
smash hit, "Let's Face It," has been
made by Paramount Pictures into
what promises to be an uproarious
film, co-starring Bob Hope and
Betty Hutton, with Dona Drake,
Cully Richards, Eve Arden, ZaSu
Pitts, Marjorie Weaver and Ray
mond Walburn.
According to all reports, the
movie version of "Let's Face It,"
which is due Wednesday at the
McDonald theater, Is even funnier
than its "legitimate" predecessor,
which isn't surprising considering
the fact that two comedy experts
like Bob' Hope and Betty Hutton
head the all-laugh cast. This is the
first time Bob Hope and Betty
have been paired and the results
are said to be cyclonic.
The plot of "Let's Face It" gives
Bob innumerable opportunities for
gags. It has him in army uniform
again, as in "Caught in the Draft "
