Irvin, to con- elude the service. . Arthur Holter has purchased the G. M. Gragg Mill, located three miles or more north of Bell ' fountain on the Bellfountain ' Philomath market road. Mr. Hol , ter took over the management of the mill on Monday morning, employing all the mill -crew who wished to remain under the new management, Mr. Gragg is plan ning to retire from the mill busi ness and run sheep on his logged off land. Private and Mrs. Charles Kun dert of Camp White, Medford, ar rived Saturday on a week's fur lough to spend mother's day with Mr. Kundert's mother, Mrs. Em ma Kundert of Dawson, and visit their many relatives and friends here. Mrs. O. K. Scott and Mrs. Cora Cheesman have left enroute to their former homes in Illinois and : Missouri for an extended visit.' Both ladies have resided for many i years in the Bellfountain community. Mrs. Ray Redmond and daugh ter Nancy of Portland are visiting at the home of Mrs. Redmond's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J, V, Bain this week. kleinan. N., who has been at Anchorage, Alaska, the past two years, have received word that she was mar ried to Harry Marlow of Cali fornia, at a church wedding at Anchorage on Saturday, May 1. Mr. Marlow is in government service in Alaska. The bride is a local girl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Holter, who now re side at Monroe, and recti ved her education in the Bellfountain grade and high schools. She has been nursing In an Anchorage hospital until recently.
