former pastor of the Community
Liberal church in Eugene, will

regular worship hour Sunday.
Rev. Whitesmith left Eugene
even years ago for Mitchellville,
Iowa. He had been here for eight
years and was the originator of
the eclectic hour on the local radio. '
He is on his way to the west
coaM. and will be in Eugene Satur
day and Sunday. His Sunday topic
is to be Understanding Our World
and Facing the Future." After
the church hour, there will be a
potluck dinner at the church in or
der that Rev. Whitesmi'h may

the past year, has accepted a Dosi-
tion in the Adventist school in
Cottage Grove for the coming year,

The grade school and high
school held a meeting recently to
vote on the 6 per cent limitation
tax and budgets. Both measures
in both the grade and hieh school
