Alumnae Meet Saturday
CDMMENCEMENT time again at the University of
Oregon next week-end will interest a large group
of Eugene alumni as well as parents of graduating
seniors. The three-day program features many interest
ing programs and social events, drawing many out-of-town
visitors and alumni.
Local Women Active
Eugene women take an
active part in the week-end
through various organizations
sponsoring activities at this
time. For local women the
highlight events for the week
end will be the silver tea for
the Pauline Potter Homer col
lection of beautiful books on
Friday afternoon; the annual
breakfast and meeting of the
State Association of University
of Oregon Women next Satur
day morning at the Osburn
hotel; and the traditional flower
and fern procession Sunday
evening, June 8.

who are alumnae attend, as
well as senior women.

cession for all senior women
and alumnae will not be held
on alumni day but on Sunday
evening instead, at six-thirty
o'clock on the lawn at the wo
men's quadrangle around the
Pioneer Mother statue.
