Library Photo on Journal A photograph of the $500,000 University of Oregon library adorns the front cover of the latest issue of Banta's Greek Ex change, national interfraternity journal, which was received on the campus thisiweek, it was an nounced here today by George H. Godfrey, head of the news bu reau. The unique shot, which was taken by J. Warren Teter of the photography bureau, was photographed from the roof of the nearby Murray Warner Ori ental art museum. dwindled considerably while he was ill for several weeks but it is now building up again. County Commissioner Walter J. Holland and County Engineer P. M. Morse were over the road Drain Resident Dies At Local Hospital DRAIN, May 21 (Special) Mrs. Sylvia E. Sanders, 46, well known 'resident of Drain, died at the Eugene hospital Monday eve ning after a brief illness. She was born in Oregon City on May 17, 1895, and has been a resident of Drain for almost her lifetime. She was married to George V. Sanders in Eugene on Jan. 27. 1913, and was active in community and fra ternal, activities. She was a mem ber of the Christian church and Order of the Eastern Star. Besides the husband she is sur vived by two daughters, Mrs. Esther Maxine Cramer and Mrs. Ella B. Addison, Lorane; two sons, Robert E. Sanders, Drain, and Don H. Sanders, Pearl Har bor, Hawaii; three sisters, Mrs. Loretta Christlanson, Portland, Mrs. Marie Potter, of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. May Maben, Au burn, Calif.; a brother, Newton Traylor, Eugene; two half sisters, Mrs. Clarabel Von Alwardon, Redding, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Santo, Pasadena, Calif. Services will be held in the Community hall, Drain, Wednesday at 2 p. m., Rev. C. F. Trimble of the Christian .church officiating. In terment will be in the I; O. O. F. cemetery.
