Mrs. J. P. Nugent is the Joe Heidenreich. Dessert Party Other new officers are Mrs. E. . D. Furrer, vice-president; Mrs. L. L. Miller, secretary: Mrs. Joseph Shipman, treasurer. Besides Mrs. Heidenrich, other retiring officers included Mrs. Walter S. Garrett . as vice-president, Mrs. George B. Schaefers as secretary; and Mrs. Shipman as treasurer. The annual dessert and card ' party of the club will be May 20 ; at St. Mary's hall, Mrs. Schaefers i and Mrs. Nugent as co-chairmen. On May 28, the group is spon ' soring a benefit cafeteria lunch at . the school, Mrs. Shipman and Mrs. Joe Shirey as co-chairmen. . SURPRISE PARTY A surprise party honoring Miss Grace Campbell, who left Wed nesday to take a position in Wash ington, D. C, was held recently By members of the C. O. S. class of the First Baptist church at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Campbell. A gift was presented to the guest of honor. Miss Campbell has been secretary at the First Baptist church for the past several months. Miss Eloiuse Williams is taking her place. SERVICE GUILD Wesleyan Service Guild of the First Methodist church has post poned its meeting from Friday, May 9, to Friday, May 16. Mrs. L. B. The monthly parish supper was an event of Wednesday evening at the parish hall. For the pro gram following, Edward Thurs ton showed colored pictures of his trip down the Snake river. Mrs. F. C. Dillard, Mrs. A, F. Sether. and Mrs. P. D. Norton were in charge of the supper. Twenty-five attended the meet. ing of St. Mary's guild during the day at the parish hall. Mrs. Glenn Hosford was chairman for the luncheon. A business meeting was held, a report being given by Mrs. Burr Fisher on the recent church convention, and a report bv Mrs. J. D. Fatten on the recent meet- ng of the Council of Church Wo men. A letter was read from Mrs. Elizabeth Ramsby. former mem. ber now in Los Angeles. The group voted to hold its monthly birthday ouservance on the third Wednes day of each month, and the Red t-ross sewing meeting on the fourth Wednesday of each month. All Saints guild of the church was entertained Wednesday after noon at the home of Mrs. Joseph Jackson. Mrs. E. Lois Psarse, Se attle, house guest of Mrs. W. E, tsronson, and Mrs. Bacot were guests. Sewing was done for the Bundles for Britain. The meet ing in two weeks will be with Mrs. DeMott McMorran. Installation Of P.-T. A. Friday The reeular monthlv meetlncf of Washington P.-T. A. on Friday, will be an installation service for next years officers. Mrs. Frank Rhodes, retiring county president, will be in charge of installation. New officers are: Mrs. A. R. Fred rickson, president; Mrs. Kenneth Patterson, first vice president; Mrs. Fay H. Robertson, second vice president; Mrs. William Havi- land, secretary; Miss Margaret Rice, treasurer. Mrs. Mary Ott will be the new membership chair man, and Robert Graham will be in charge of publicity. Following the service, Washing ton teachers will he hnst for h tea hour.
