The cast has been selected and re hearsals started. In conjunction with this play will be held a contest which should be of great interest to all Springfield mothers. The vote was 134 to 124, with 15 delegates not voting. Greeks Watch On Albania Frontier ATHENS, Greece, Oct. 12. ) High Greek authorities, pushing defense measures as German mil itary power spread in nearby Ru mania, declared today that this country is ready to pull the trig ger in case of any surprise attack. The Greek army is mobilized along the frontier of Italian-occupied Albania where it is re ported 120,000 to 150,000 Italian troops are being gradually rein forced. No figures were disclosed, how ever, as to the number of Greeks under arms. Japanese Ships Still Loading Scrap Iron SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 12. (U.R) Four Japanese freighters were in Pacific coast ports today, speeding the loading of scrap-iron to beat the presidential embargo, only five days away. The Bordeaux Maru docked nere late yesterday to load around 3.000 tons of scrap, according to Interocean Steamship company, the ship's agents. The Aratama Maru is now loading at Portland ind the Kuwayama Maru and Cuba Maru are at Seattle, taking on scrap iron. It was believed other vessels were loading at Los Angeles harbor.
