O'Neil and Sons of Eugene have been awarded a contract by the state highway commission to furnish rock for a production project on the Nasco county line-Madras sec tion of the Dalles-California highway at 510,509. Asked to Funeral Members of the Women's Re lief Corps are asked to attend the funeral of Mrs. Mary E. Brock, widow of a Civil war, veteran, who died Friday. The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a. m. at the Branstetter-Simon chapel. Here from Harrlsburg Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Alford of Harrisburg were in Eugene Friday afternoon, visiting their grandson, Dorman Alford, who is in the Uni versity of Oregon infirmary. Museum Closed Today Because of the absence of so many students and others in Port land this week-end to take in the Oregon-Washington game and other festivities, the Murray War ner museum on the campus is to be closed today.
