(Special) Mr. and Mrs. Archie Bascum, their baby daughter, Gayle, and Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Nolan spent Sunday at Heceta Boach. Harold Mack and his party are expected to return soon from Idaho where they are enjoying a boating trip on the Salmon river. In the party are Mr. Mack, a group of his friends from Pebble Beach California, and a number of Mc Kenzie river boatmen, including, Dayton Thomson, Woody Hind man, Ken Taylor, Ed Thurston, and Howard Montgomery. Rev. Rex Sownrd with his wife and children, were di' ner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and j Mrs. Otis Finn. Rev, Mr. Soward with his brother, Rev. Ray Soward, both of Eugene, conduct Bible study each Wednesday evening at the Finn home. Each Sunday after noon 'the classes are conducted at the Vida gymnasium. Mrs. Dayton Thomson and son, Scott, accompanied by Mrs. Har ley Hall and son, Glenn, motored to Lake Cleawox Sunday after a group of girls who had spent two weeks at the Girl Scout camp. After being conducted through the camp by the girls, Coralea Thom son, Kathleen King, Ellen South ern, Eugene; and Marion Elbert of Walterville; the party enjoyed the afternoon at Heceta Beach. Vida friends of Mr. and Mrs. Sophus Bonlokke who spent the past several months at Blue River, will be interested to learn that they are now living at their home at Aloha and Mr. Bonlokke is em ployed at Forest Grove.
