From Yoncalla YONCALLA, March 21. (Spe cial) The Yoncalla grade school boys won a basketball game from the Gerome Prairie boys on the Yoncalla floor with a score of 18 to 11. They are now champions of Douglas, Jackson, and Josephine counties. Mr. and Mrs. Scoffield and fam ily of Dallas have moved in one of Mr. Bigelow s houses. The Perkins house on what is known as the Bishop place on Mill town hill burned Monday about noon. Nothing was saved. There will be a miscellaneous shower for the Perkins family at' the I. O. O. F. hall Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Plowman and family moved from the Jess Laswell place to the Minar Apple gate house. The last meeting of the Yoncalla Women's Study club was held at Mrs. Leslie Miller's home. The rooms and tables were decorated In celebration of St. Patrick's day. After luncheon the group sang.
