clal) The River Road Women's
club met Wednesday afternoon at
the clubhouse.

The marriage of Mrs. Edith
Davis to D. C. Lindgren was sol
emnized Tuesday morning in the
First Christian church study, Dr.
S. Earl Childers, pastor, officiat
ing. About sixteen were present for
the wedding. Mrs. Rosemary Gib
son and Luther Ruth attended the
couple.
The bride wore a black cos
tume, with black hat and corsage
of orchids.
A luncheon was served at Sey
mour's following the service.
The couple will live in Eugene.

Paralysis Fund Set
Arrangements ate being com
pleted for the benefit bridge party
for the national infantile paralysis
fund, which will be held Monday,
January 29, at one-thirty at the
Osburn hotel. One half of the
proceeds will remain in the county
to be used in aiding victims of the
disease, while the other half will
go to the National Foundation for
Research and Educational Work
in Infantile Paralysis.

cial) The Court of Award of Girl
Scouts troop 12 was held recently
at the River Road Women's club
house. A potluck supper was
served, followed by a program
given by the Girl Scouts. Investi
ture and awarding of badges also
took place. The program consist
ed of a dramatization of a trip
taken by the troop last summer.
