(Special) Tha local Boy Scouts troop met this week at tha oclal room of the church for it regular meeting and will also meet Thurs day evening for its investiture service when the boys will have finished their preparatory period and will become scouts. H. B. Sallee of Eugene will be present for the evening and bring with him a group of Boy Scouts who will demonstrate work. Par ent of the boys In the local troop are especially invited to attend this meeting Thursday evening and the public is Invited to attend. After the meeting refreshments will be served in the social room and thoso attending will bring cookies cake, sandwiches or material for fruit punch. PLAY IS FRIDAY THURSTON, April 21. (Spe cial) Arrangements are being completed for the entertainment Friday evening, April 22 when a I play, "I Know, You Know, Shake," ; I is being presented by four of the I I grange members. A small admis sion fee will be charged and other entertainment will be presented with dancing at the close of the evening. Refreshments will be sold during the evening. The play will begin at 8:15. Proceeds will go to the grange treasury. MEET FOR BRIDGE I COTTAGE GROVE, April 21. (Special) The Royal Neighbors I club met this week socially at ! the home of Mrs. H. B.
