The lunch commit tee is Mrs. Ethel Ward, Will Plank and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kelso. Egg Hunt Will Be Held at J. C. JUNCTION CITY, April 13. (Special) Plans for the annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by the business men are being made and if the weather man will do his part a "Bigger and Better" Easter frolic for the children of Junction City and community will take place at the city park on Saturday, April 18. The children are to be at the park not later than 1:15 p. m. Members of Boy Scout troop 15 are coloring the eggs and will take an active part in the management of the hunt at the park. (Special) The Wistfir union Sunday school will present its annual Easter pro gram at the community hall, Sun day morning at 10:30 o'clock. A sunrise service in conjunction with the Methodist Episcopal and First Christian churches of Oak ridge will be held at Circle Bar ranch at 6 a. m. Sunday for all interested. Plan Easter Event COBURG," April 13. (Special) The Coburg Girl Scouts and the Emma Jane Sunday school class of the Methodist Episcopal church will be guests at an Easter service and breakfast at the home of Mrs. W. T. Bettis, on Easter morning. A devotional service with Easter music will be held followed by the breakfast. The group will attend the morning services at the Meth odist Episcopal church. Easter formed the decorative motif which was at tractively carried out in the din ing room and living rooms. Mrs. Herbert Lombard and Mrs. Harold Dugan were guests. At bridge Mrs. C. H. Father And Son Banquet Is Given At Lorane School TEACHERS HIRED CRESWELL, April 13 (Special) The teaching staff of the grade school has been complete lor the next year with the hiring of Miss Shirley Harrold of Willakenzie as teacher of the sixth and seventh grades and Miss Violet Inman of Springfield for the fourth and fifth grades. Miss Harrold has taught at Vaughn for the past three years and Miss Inman is the present principal of the Pleasant Hill grade school. Other teachers are Mrs. Ingram, principal, Miss Anderson and Miss Spencer. CLUB ELECTS COTTAGE GROVE, April 13. (Special) The Cottage Grove Rod and Gun club held its annual elec tion and installation of officers re cently at the club house on South Sixth as follows: R. S. Drenner, re-elected president; Claude Sher man, vice president; Charles Hall, re-elected treasurer; Don Dren ner, secretary. Committees for the ensuing year were appointed. Work on remodeling the club house is progressing satisfactorily. Grove Chamber Plans Booster Program COTTAGE GROVE, April 13. (Special) Boost Cottage Grove and "Buy a Home" was the slogan announced at the meeting of the chamber of commerce Tuesday, with Harold Eakin, president, pre siding. The promotion committee is Fred Knickerbocker, Harold Eakin, A. W. Helllwell, J. R. Bla lock, Vinal Randall, Carl Rynear son, Cleo Morelock, Loren Schroe der, C. J. Kem, L. E. Brisbane. This committee was authorized at the meeting Tuesday to proceed with the program as planned, which begins Tuesday evening, April 19, with a 6:30 banquet, the place to be announced later. A guest speaker will be present. This planned program is to be carried out throughout the entire year, which will include community pic nics, card parties and various amusements. , Also essay contests for the Cottage Grove school chil dren at which prizes will be given.
