Grapefruit Pie Makes 1 pie. Serves 0. 1 cup grapefruit juice Vi cup orange juice 1 T. lemon juice . 1 cup. sugn r M teaspoon . salt H fup cold water 3 T. cornstarch 2 egg yolks 1 T. butter 1 teaspoon grapefruit rind 2 egg whites 4 T. sugar Heat fruit juice, sugar, salt in dou ble boiler. Mix water and cornstarch. Tour hot juice and sugar over corn starch nnd return to double boiler. Stir till thickened nnd cook 10 min utes. Add beaten egg ynlk and butter. Conk 1 minute. Remove from fire nnd stir in the grapefruit rind. Pour into baked pie hIo'II nnd cover with a meringue made of egg whites and 4 T. srar. Bake in oven liOO degrees, 1, minutes. For pudding bake filling and merin gue without crut in individual pud ding dishes. Frnnces Pruitt, Crow Stage, Eugene. Throe Fruit Shorbet 1 tablespoon gelatin 1 cup sugar 2 cups water 3-4 cup ornnge juice 3-4 cup grapefruit juice 1 i cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons maraschino juice Few grains salt Soak gelatin in 2 tablespoons cold water for five miiiujes, It. til sugar ami water together for 10 minutes.
