The Willing Workers club of Cen tral sponsored a program-dance nnd pie social at the hall Saturday night. The sum of $17.50 was taken in from selling; pies which will go to help build a kitchen for the hall. The program consisted of Bongs by Kl mira high school glee club, and by Karl Gardner, a play by the grange, readings by Iris Fitch and Ernest Phelps and a piano solo by Lois Morford. Mrs. Clarence Hnldorson was called to Portland Sunday by the illness of her mother, who is ill at the Dr. Coffey clinic. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Jorgcnson. A. association of Deer horn community is scheduled to hold a meeting Wednesday evening, April IS, for its business session, program and socinl. Miss linle Kaston is chairman of the refreshment committee and is nxking for pies of any kind to be serv ed with coffee. Each is asked to bring plute, cup and cutlery. This is the latit meeting for this term and elec tion of officers will bo an important part of the business session.
