Tree Melons Ready For Fruit Markets SAN BENITO, Tex., Dec. 81. (U.R) First commercial shipment of papayas, the so-called tree melons from the Lower Rio Grande valley of Texas, was attended with such sue cess that extensive production may result next year. ' Papayas groves now bearing ripe fruit were planted last March. A single tree will produce two to three dozen large fruit.
