(Special) Mrs. Witty has gone to Yonealla where she is nursing Mrs. Leo Helms, who was severely burned last week when her clothes caught fire while standing too close to the fireplace. Mrs. Lloyd Russell of Portland, who is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Thomas, near Anlauf, was vis iting old friends in Drain Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Miller and children, Meriam and Fay. of Hay hurst, attended the dinner held at the Christian church Sunday. Miss Mildred Young, who is attend ing the normal school at Monmouth, arrived home Friday to visit her pa rents. Mr. and Mrs. H. I Young dur ing the holiday vacation.
