Conn, 671 Eleventh ave nue west, who fell from a cherry tree at hi. home Wednesday, died at the Eugene hospital late Thursday after noon a. a result of the injuries sus tained at the time. He was aged 74 years. Mr. Conn is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ellen Conn; a son, William Conn, of Eugene: a granddaughter, Evelyn Conn of Eugene; a brother, J. W. Conn, Junction City, R. F. D. No. S, a niece, Maude Pattee of Hillsboro; and a nephew, Lloyd Conn of Eugene. He was born in Butler county, Iowa, Dec. 13, 1857. and had lived in Lane county since 1014. He resided near Irving eight yenrs, coming to Eugene in 1022. He was a member of the MethodiBt church. The funeral will be held at the Ventchchnpel Monday, July 11, nt 2 p. m., with Interment in the Rest haven Memorial park. Rev. Harry Neet will conduct the services. Mrs. John D. Rockefeller, Jr., and her children and other mem bers of the immediate family will be at the table. Afterwards there will be an orenn recital and the 03-year-old Rockefeller will go to bed, as usual, at 0 p. m. Reporters, as always, besieged Mr. Rockefeller for interviews but he par ried them all with a prepared state ment issued from his office.
