Grove Golfers Lose at Bandon COTTAGE GROVE- July 6. (Special). A Cottage Grove golf club was defeated nt Itnndon. Sunday, 21 to 18, Cottnce Grove had previously defeated Bandon here by a large mar gin. The locals had difficulty in get ting a team together on account of the Fourth of July week-end, and augmented its lineup with players from Eugene, Corvallis and Roseburg and even had one player front Topeka, Kansas. The locals will complete the season when it plays Eugene Country club at Kucene. Sunday. Those from Eugene in the Cottage Grove lineup were Kay Glass, - Fred Walters and E. O. Potter.
