Mitchell, Wednesday, Arrests Promised For Erring Drivers All motorists operating cars with out mufflers on exhaust pipes, with but one headlight, nr with four adult persons in the driver's seat will be arrested and brought into court, it is announced by Sergeant W. H. Ellen burg, in charge of the Eugene dis trict for the state police. Those who have had the mufflers removed from the exhaust pipes or are in the habit of driving with open cut-outs must comply with the law immediately, the sergeant stated. The state police; he said, have been issuing warnings to drivers of one-eyed cars and parties driving with four in the front seat, hut the courtesy has not been respected and arrests will be made in all cases of violation discov ered in the future.
