Miss Mary Smith and ber brother, Ivan Smith, wig a duet entitled "When the Bloom Is on the Sage," dressed in cowboy and cowgirl costumes. Rev. J. Willis FInle gave a reading on "Women's Rights." ER E! HALSET, Ang. 13. (Special) Mlsa Ernestine Coleman and Charles Munger were quietly married Thurs day afternoon, Aug. 8. at 2 o'clock, at the Chnrch of Christ parsonage at Albany with Rev. Rex Dallas of the AlbaDy church performing the cere mony. H read the ring ceremony before M.si Coleman mother, Mrs. Nora Coleman, Mm. Rex Pallas, and daughter, Misa Loleita Pallas. The bride was charming In her white crepe dress. Following the ceremonies the young couple departed at once for a motor trip to California where they rfstted Sacramento and other central cities. Mrs. Munger Is the only daughter of Mrs. Nora Colpman. a teacher hre in the grade school. Pbe gradu ated from the local high school in June, 1030, and has boen employed here since her graduation. Mr. Munger is the son of Mr. and Mrs, Menry Munger who reside a few miles southwest of Halsey, Fie attended the local schools. He has been employed for the past several years In the Halsey garage which employment he will continue to work at for the, time. Mr. and Mrs Munger will mnkft their home here. They re turned from their honeymoon trip late Tuesday evening. (Special) Fifty persona attended the annual mite box opening of tbe missionary so cieties of tha local Methodist Epis copal church last Friday afternoon when the Woman' Kureiga Mission ary society held their regular meeting at the country home of Mr. Sidney J. Smith. The Standard Rearers, young ladies, missionary society. King Heralds, children's missionary sm-iety, and Little Light Rearers, infanta' mis sionary society, were cucsts. The meeting was called to order and presided over by the president, Mrs, Nidney J, Smith. The crowd ail joined in a hymn as the opening num lr on the program. This was fol lowed by the devotional led by Mrs. V, P. Wahl. Geraldine and Elaine Straley then favored with a voeal duet with their mother, Mrs. Charles Kins ley, accompanying them; Jovc Haves Iheu gave a recitation. Mrs, Smith then gave a reading which was fol lowed by a vocal duet by Miss Ro burta Yamtico with Mrs, Gracp Van idee neeonipnnying her.
