Miner Building Charity Work Varied YELFARE LEAGUE members held " a called meeting Friday at which time the stood completed ita nlans for charity work daring the Christmas season. The League fa to asaist sii needy families in the county, and possibly eight or a dozen, with Christmas bas kets of food and necessities. Saturday, a corps from the mem bership assisted at tha clinic held at tha Public Health association offico. On Tuesday, members from the League will assist the Red Cross in tying bundlea to be distributed for Christmas. On Friday members helped at the Red Cross offica in ty ing tap bundles of toys for poor chil-! dren. Each day through tha Christmas 1 season, members are assisting the Red Cross in collecting articles and in supplying transportation for other er rands at the office.
