Nice to see Stanley King back from the service . . . he. is now back in business here and tells us he will bring his bride here to live after their marriage next month ... Mrs. Wiliard Marsh all wore a stunning aloha blue feather pillbox hat with her black enaemble . . . Pinned to Mrs. Carl Emmons' dress was a lovely purple orchid, a gift on her 25th wedding anniversary Christmas day ... A foursome . Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Berg and Dr. and Mrs. Charles Camp bell . . . Mrs. Berg looked smart In all black, her high crowned hat enhanced with gold and one of the new wide gold bracelets on her long black gloves . . . Lor en Soulier of Salem would be director of the company's con templated art gallery which is to be "among the finest on the west coast and give Salem a new cultural center as well as a shopping place for o r i gj n a 1 works of art." t' . Soulier also will be in charge of the artist's materials and pic ture framing department Jh con nection with the galleries.
