ural delicious flavor of this fruit

To make, simply arrange apple
slice i a, shallow 'pan, cover
with browa sugar, and sprinkle
with nutmeg and grated lemon
rind. Then fir the crunch, crush
corn flakes into fine crumbs and
mix with brown sugar and melt
ed butter. Sprinkle this over the
applet and bake until tender.

APPLE' CRUNCH
cups sliced, pared apples
JV cups tight browa sugar,
firmly packed 1
V teaspoo nutmeg
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
4 cups corn flakes
Vt cup butter or margarine,
melted
Arrange apples in buttered I x

Cover with 1 cup of (he brown
sugar. Sprinkle with nutmeg and
lemon rind. Crush core; flakes in
to fine crumbs; combine with re
maining sugar and the butter.
Sprinkle over apples. Bake in
