By ANN LANDERS Dear Ann: I'm Just about to leave my second wife and I need some advice. She doesn't know bow to manage money and the bouse is not run as it should be. My first' wife had these same faults, plus a few more I wont go into. This is my question: I have two children by my first mar riage. When I proved my wife an unfit mother in Court, they awarded me custody of the girls. If I pay support for these children does my present wife have to keep them? She's been a good mother for seven years. (They are f and 11.) Ill give her credit for THAT much. She treats them the same as our own two. Please let me know how the law reads on this.-TWICE SKUNKED I doa't kaew haw the law read beeaase I'm aat a lawyer. Bat I have a few cemmeate ta make which have nothing ta do with the law. Daa't ge away. When are yea getag ta learn that yea caat salve year prob lems by taking a raaalag leap late the divorce eaert? If yor wife caat maaage meaey, why daa't ya haadle K aad see if yea come oat aay better? Yea have eeasammate gall la aspect this wamaa ta eare tor year chlldrea after yea've left her. It apparently hat slipped year memory that she took year small motherless lots aad prac tically raised them from the cradle. Accord lag ta my figares they were t aad 4 wbea yea damped them late her levtag arms. Think It ever. Mister. Iastead of wastlag your eaergy trying la carve out a new future far yourself ("sknnklag" number three cemiag ap?) why not work at maklag a ge of this preseat sit Batiea? Dear Ann: This is urgent. A very close friend of ours is in danger of losing her husband. We happen to know that the "busi ness relationship" between a certain high-priced executive and his secretary is not all business. The niehts when he is supposed to be grabbing a sandwich at his desk and working late, he is actually winning and dining this blonde. The real pay-off is this: The girl pulls down a salary of $420 a month and she can neither take snortnand nor use a typewriter. This is not speculation, Ann, it's the real story. The wife has been a close friend of ours for IS years and we think if she knew what was going on she'd break it up. You II probably say we should mind our own Dusiness. out wnat good are friends if they can't come to the rescue in time of need? THE WORRIED ONES Yea are RIGHT. I'm going la tell you ta mind your own basi nets. Cantider: (1) Despite the evidence, yea could be mistaken and (Z) Erea If you're right, real friends doa't light the fuse to a slick of dynamite. (Ann Landers will be glad to help you with your problems. Send them to her in care of this newspaper and enclose a stamped self addressed envelope.) (Copyright 1BS7, Field Enterprise. Inc.)
