The high lakes n Hood River county are excellent, espe cially Wahtum lake, where limit ralches of t to 13 inch eastern brook are being takrn The Deschutes riter in the Mau pin area is good for rainbows . In 13 inches Paulina and Kast lakes continue to be good. Crane Prairie reservoir is (air Big Lava lake :s excellent, especially on brass wobl riles Fishing at Cres rem lake is excellent for kottanee finni 10 to 12 inches. The De Khules river below Bend ia good Blue lake is food for rainbow trolling, spinner and flatfish. Spin ner and worms have been produc ing good catches of kokanee. An gling is beginning ot pick up it Diamond lake with several limit catches of fisri averaging 2 to 3 pounds taken Fish were caught using spinner and worm, or spon nor and flatfish and fishing deep l.akr of the Woods is excellent wilh many limit ralches.
