The Girls Friendly Society will conduct a children's Grab Bag for the entertainment of the amall fry. Luncheon of sand wiches, pie and coffee will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. by the Women's Auxiliary. Home made doughnuts will be offered by the Willamette University Canterbury Club. A spaghetti supper will be served from 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 pnu by the women of M. raui a Mission church. An auction sale of all remaining merchandise will be held at 7 p.m. witn Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Williams as auctioneers. All bataar arrange ments have been made by Mrs Mervin Fidler and Mrs. Donald Young, co-chairmen. Friends and the interested public are invited to attend any or ail of tne aoove events. A Christmas Program for Garden Club December meeting of the Sa lem Garden Club will be held at the Salem Women's . Club House The program will usher in the Christmas season for the club. Miss Edith Sehryver will have charge of the program of carols, readings, legends and skits all pertaining to Christmas, The pro gram will be given at 2 p. m. -. Following the -program Mrs. A. R. Tartar, president of the club, will conduct the b mines meeting and Mm. Howard Hue saker will call for final plans from heads of committees of the annual Christmas Greens Show slated for Dee. 12 and 13. Members will have the oppor tunity to make their own table arrangements "for1 Christmas at the class conducted by Mrs. Es till Brunk at 10 a. m. Members are asked to' bring their own cones, leaves, . trimmings and bowl, ,but may buy material to work with at the class. In the corn ee class, corsages will be as sembled for the, Christmas Greens Show and materials will be lurJ nished. Mr. Charles Qole and Mrs. Bryan Goodenough will con duct this class. .
